OK, I am back again for another try at this !!!

I was successful earlier and lost 30 pounds of fat but then I went off and lost my focus.
I also gained back 10 pounds during the following months.

Starting right NOW, I am going to lose these 10 pounds and 31 more to get to the 199 pound mark.
That is my GOAL.

I am making this a PRIORITY in my daily life.
I will eat my ’smart for life’ meals and vegetables and ‘lean meats/fish/egg whites’ every day.
One day a week, I will be free to eat any thing.
I will take my super-food vitamins every day.
I will track and LOG everything I eat daily.
I will walk/exercise every day.
I will ‘lift weights/hit the gym’ at least 3 times a week.
I will track and LOG all workouts daily.
I will always keep a positive mental attitude or recover to that as quickly as possible.
I will control my emotional eating.
I WILL be successful.

This I have DECIDED and I DECLARE it.

alcohol - fat metabolism

just recently heard that alcohol can impair fat metabolism for up to 3 days !!!
That is bad. very bad. your hard work at the gym or at home or at the park/beach/hills is being wasted.

First and foremost, alcohol is a poison and your body must fight to get it out of your system. It directly impairs liver function thus severely hampering your metabolism of fat.

Consuming alcohol again stops all fat burning, adds extra calories, increases estrogen level (stubborn fat), increases appetite and makes you more easily persuaded to eat that entire cheese cake.

tips tricks and motivation ! re-post.

1. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START. NEVER. EVER.
2. MAKE A PLAN and WRITE it down. FOLLOW it. LOOK at it OFTEN.
3. Eat 5-8 times a day with small portions. Eat healthy: Lean protein, good fat, good carbs. Vitamins and minerals are important. If you are hardcore and can do it for fast results, avoid rice, pasta, bread, starchy potatoes etc.
4. Drink water. If it is hard to, add lemon juice, or drink flavored waters like ‘vitamin water’.
5. Exercise: walk, go to the gym, dance, sweat, or just wave your arms, breathe DEEP for a few minutes.
6. NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER. EVER. YOU can do it and you WILL BE SUCCESFUL.

0. Abs - do crunches. Easier if you scoot your butt close to a chair/sofa and put your legs up. don’t lead with your head. let your abs pick you up. you only have to go a few inches. go slowly, both up and down. do a few and you can feel the burnnn !
You can also do matt furey’s combat abs program. Abs contractions. Leg lifts are great for the lower abs if you can do them. You have to support your back though !

And smile. It is an easy trick to use the body to change your mind. You and others will feel better almost instantaneously.

i am back !

after two months, i am back and ready to lose some more weight !
i didn’t lose much (3 pounds) over the last two months, but i managed to not gain any, and so I am extremely pleased !!!
